Fishing
Fishing Basics:
PyroFishing is a game involving fishing, with custom fish, a fishing level system, and unique items. To catch custom fish, cast your rod into water and wait for a bite, checking the fish codex for locations. Selling fish is simple with the '/fish shop' command. Your fishing level, which can be upgraded with XP from custom fish, is crucial for crafting augments, constructing the Fishing Totem, and earning skill points. Entropy has its own page. Crabs and other mobs drop custom items. Party fishing involves a shared fish bag.
What is an Entropy?
- Entropy is a custom currency in PyroFishingPro, used for crafting augments and upgrading deliveries.
- Entropy can be earned by catching and gutting fish, with different values for different fish tiers.
- Augments like Hot Spot, Precision Cutting, and Perception can maximize Entropy earnings.
- Boosters, earned from delivery rewards or spawned in, can multiply the entropy earned from catching fish.
- Totems, especially when used with the Entropy Horder passive ability, can help earn more entropy.
- Skills like Better Gutting, Luck of the Catch, and Master Augmenter can improve entropy earnings and crafting.
What are the Skills?
Skills are categorized into two types: Upgradable Skills and One-Time Purchase Skills.
Upgradable Skills: These are ten skills that can be upgraded to enhance different aspects of the game. They cost one Skill Point each to upgrade, with diminishing returns as more points are spent. It's recommended to initially distribute points evenly and later specialize in specific skills.
One-Time Purchase Skills: These skills provide passive effects. They require a flat amount of Skill Points (usually 10) to purchase and are active permanently. Their effectiveness scales with your Fishing Level, meaning higher levels enhance their performance.
The skills are divided into two categories: Upgradable Skills and One-Time Purchase Skills. The specific skills will be listed in a separate section once the page is fully updated. Last updated one year ago.
What are Scales used for?
- The "fish scales" feature allows users to try their luck at earning more or less money by weighing fish.
- To use the feature, open the scales menu via "/fish scales" or the main menu, then drag and drop fish into the GUI.
- There are four scale types: Low, Medium, High, and Extreme, which affect the price increase or decrease.
- The price change is always a percentage of the fish's normal sell price.
- If fish are stacked together, they will be scaled for the same price; if split into different slots, they will each receive a random scaled price.
- Scaled fish do not work with the "Special Fish" feature in the fish shop.
What is Fish Gutting?
- "Gutting" refers to processing caught fish to earn Entropy.
- Gutting results in less Entropy than catching fish, but can help boost entropy game.
- Only Entropy can be earned from gutting, no other items.
- Gutting is done in-game via "/fish gut" or "/fish menu -> Gutting Station".
- Income from gutting can be boosted through Precision Cutting, Fishing Augment, and Better Gutting Fish Skills.
- These boosters work independently, not together, based on the base income from gutting fish.
